Road Trip Fashion.

Hey Nubians,<br />
<br />
Now that summer weather is basically here give or take a few days I 
can't wait to start planning trips. Nothing like being on the road, feel
 the breeze through your hair, being with cool people, and most 
importantly having fun!<br />
<br />
Also, you have to pack some nice road trip appropriate clothing at 
first. I love to take photos because I enjoy the fact of knowing I'll 
look back at them one day and smile. Fashion and style has always been a
 passion of mine and a creative outlet so I love to have great clothing 
and accessories with me at all time.<br />

I saw this editorial of Marloes Horst for Harpers Bazaar China May 2015

I love the kind of retro 70s vibe of this editorial. This captures more 
of a place in your road trip where you make a stop somewhere and just 
snap away on your camera... It's totally something I would do at least 
ha. I like little things, remembering what you were wearing, remembering
 the patterns on the sheets of the bed or how your room was made up... 
It's pretty cool to analyze things this way for me. </div>

Needless to say the clothing in the shoot is beautiful. So many prints 
and patterns. The photo above reminds me of something out of the movie 
Almost Famous with Kate Hudson. It's all a cross of Ethereal x Sexy. </div>

This messy french braid can easily be achieved by grabbing more ad more hair as you braid. I love how in the photo above its fishtail/pigtails, very cute and dainty. All of a sudden my inner bohemian comes out and I just want to take a deep breathe in and enjoy any inch of fresh air my little lungs can obtain.<br /><br /><b><span style="color: red; font-size: large;"><u>5 trends I'm really into this Spring/Summer. </u></span></b><br /><br /><ul><li>I'm smitten with <b><span style="color: red;">ruffles</span></b> right now. They add an immense feminine and romantic touch to everything.</li><li><b><span style="color: red;">Gladiator</span> </b>sandals are the bomb. I totes know tons of people that hate on them but I don't give a shiz. They are empowering and make your legs look prettier.</li><li>Let's get playful with the <span style="color: red;"><b>sunglasses</b></span>! Cool shapes and some D.I.Y wouldn't kill you my dears. Run to the store and buy a glue gun now!</li><li><span style="color: red;"><b>Floppy hats and pretty much any strong head piece</b></span>... #JustBecause</li><li><span style="color: red;"><b>Out of this world bold lip colors</b></span>. I didn't put many in this collage right here per-say BUT, I want to toy around with pastels... purples and blues mainly. Hello Nubians,<br /><br />Humidity is annoying as HELL, excuse my french but a bitch! I hate walking out of my house, having my hair done and a cute outfit on, feeling totally awesome and then <b style="font-style: italic;">POW! </b>Humidity kicks in and your face usually starts getting oily, you start feeling uncomfortable and all of a sudden you don't feel so nice anymore.<br /><br />One thing I can't stand is my face looking oily. As a blogger, I take tons of photos and I DO NOT want my face looking shiny (especially the "T" zone). I remember reading somewhere that Starbucks napkins or pretty much any business that has brown grainy napkins, work great as blotting papers! I put this to the test and it is indeed true. It beats going to Sephora and wasting about $10.00 a pack. Stock up on some napkins and enjoy an awesome coffee or tea at the same time!<br /><br />The paper in Starbucks for example is made out of 100% recyclable content!
