Town Square Las Vegas Fashion.

Hey Nubians,<br /><br /><br />I love going to Town Square in Vegas. It's super beautiful, there's great stores, tasty places to go eat, a nice movie theatre and fabulous stores to shop in. It feels like a nice little getaway.<br /><br />Anyway, on to my outfit, I pulled out these great vibrant colors! I've been really inspired by bright, bold neons and prints lately. The weather is still a bit chilly at times but it's so warn during the day, it's perfection.<br /><br /><i>Me encanta ir a Town Square en Las Vegas. Es super hermosa, hay grandes tiendas, lugares agradables para ir a comer, una buena sala de cine y tiendas fabulosas para comprar ropa. It was very good and most of the car stunts were out of this world crazy. It was bittersweet however because of Paul Walker's passing.... Selena Quintanilla "The Queen of Tejano" was killed 20 years ago today. I still remember how tragic it  was. I remember coming home from elementary school, seeing this on the news and just crying! She was my favorite singer. Not only was she insanely talented with singing and dancing, but she always looked so humble. She seemed like one of those people who was bursting with positivity and who loved life. what happened to her was insanely unfair and it's so sad that her life was cut so short. Till this day everyone still talks about her so much because of the impact she had on her fans.<br /><br /><i>Selena Quintanilla "La reina del Tejano" fue asesinada hace 20 años. Todavía recuerdo, fue muy trágico. Recuerdo saliendo de mi escuela, viendo las noticias en mi casa y llorando! Ella era mi cantante favorita. No sólo era increíblemente talentosa cantando y bailando, pero siempre se veía tan humilde. Parecía una de esas personas llena de positividad y que amaba la vida. Lo que le sucedió fue tremendamente injusto y es muy triste que su vida se truncó así. Hasta este día todo el mundo todavía habla de ella mucho debido al impacto que tuvo en sus fans.</i><br /><br />I always loved her style and fashion sense too. She even opened up her own boutiques which were salon/clothing stores. You can shop and get your nails done. Hello Nubians, <br /><br />Continuing my Monday Muse segment, I'd like to feature one of my favorites... Italian bombshell Sophia Loren.<br /><br />I absolutely LOVE what Sophia Loren stood for. She embraced everything life through her way. She had humble beginnings, born in the slums of Naples and somehow ended up becoming a sex symbol worldwide and even won an an Oscar in 1960 for her role in Two Women. Determined to become an actress she dropped out of High School at age 15 and enrolled in a drama school in New York City... talk about knowing what you want right?!<br /><br />In 1950 Lucy and her husband Desi Arnez (which sadly they eventually divorced) started a new venture with  Desilu Productions. It started as a radio shoe and in October 1951 they started a television comedy series, I Love Lucy. The show starred the two of them and it was a comedy based around their real lives as a couple. The show was a hit for 6 years.<br /><br /><b><span style="font-size: large;">Anyway, a couple of reasons I personally love Lucy</span></b> is because watching her show and reading about her I could tell <b>she was a total force to be reckoned with</b>. I remember reading a quote where she said <i>"How I Love Lucy was born? We decided that instead of divorce lawyers profiting from our mistakes, we'd profit from them."</i> <b>To me that demonstrates a woman who can take an utterly terrible situation and not let it define her</b>... basically she was able to flip the switch at all times.<br /><br />Lucy was also a pioneer, I believe she was the first woman to own her very own film studio. A lot of people believed Lucille Ball would never make it as an actress but she didn't let anything stop her. She also inspired countless amounts of women to pursue comedy at a time when it wasn't very common and till this day. <b>Determined, driven and the type of inspiration and woman to look up to that young girls need today. Beautiful in and out. </b><br /><b><br /></b><b><span style="color: red; font-size: x-large;"><u>Lucy's Style</u></span></b><br />I don't have much to say about Lucy's style because these photos speak for themselves. She was a classy lady and a total fox. She sported a lot of 1950s glam and knew how to work it. 5 Trends I'm Really into Spring/Summer 2014.

Hello Nubians,<br /><br />There's something about this time of year that always puts me on that "I'm a Child of Mother Nature" groove. All of a sudden my inner bohemian comes out and I just want to take a deep breathe in and enjoy any inch of fresh air my little lungs can obtain.<br /><br /><b><span style="color: red; font-size: large;"><u>5 trends I'm really into this Spring/Summer. </u></span></b><br /><br /><ul><li>I'm smitten with <b><span style="color: red;">ruffles</span></b> right now. They add an immense feminine and romantic touch to everything.</li><li><b><span style="color: red;">Gladiator</span> </b>sandals are the bomb. I totes know tons of people that hate on them but I don't give a shiz. They are empowering and make your legs look prettier.</li><li>Let's get playful with the <span style="color: red;"><b>sunglasses</b></span>! Cool shapes and some D.I.Y wouldn't kill you my dears. Run to the store and buy a glue gun now!</li><li><span style="color: red;"><b>Floppy hats and pretty much any strong head piece</b></span>... #JustBecause</li><li><span style="color: red;"><b>Out of this world bold lip colors</b></span>. I didn't put many in this collage right here per-say BUT, I want to toy around with pastels... purples and blues mainly. You'd probably be able to find some fantastic shades at Lime Crime or Melt Cosmetics.</li></ul><i><span style="color: red;"><b>(I thought I'd leave out mentioning prints like florals and tribals, those a way obvious right?)</b></span></i><br /><br />I also happen to find myself on a Frida Kahlo-ish inspiration kick.  I feel her style as her art is revolutionary and influential to modern culture.
