My nails were fairly long but of course one of them just had to break so I cut them all... Don't you just hate that!? Anyway, I cut my nails really short and kind of improvised a few lines to make a fun little design. I decided to DIY my manicure instead of going to the salon. I actually do this pretty often to try to improve my skills. It also doesn't hurt to save a few bucks along the way/ </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">For my base color I used Sally Hansen Velvet 640 Velour. It's a nice matte purple color. I proceeded but using LA. Colors Art Deco wands in white and silver glitter to make some lines off the top of my head and make the manicure more fun. I sealed the manicure with Sally Hansen's Gel Shine 3D Top Coat. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="background-color: white; font-family: HelveticaNeue, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 26px;"><i>Ayer por la noche después de un poco de limpieza de primavera decidí darme un manicure y pedicure. Mis uñas eran bastante largas, pero por supuesto uno de ellas tenía que romperse y tuve que cortarlas todas... ¿No lo odias? Lip Color of the Week: Lancôme #356 Belle De Rouge.

Hello Nubians, <br /><br />For the love of makeup, I'm kicking off a beauty "Lip Color of the Week" segment on my blog and YouTube channel (<a href="http://youtube.com/NubiasNonsenseblog">Make sure to subscribe here</a>) and I've started off by reviewing Lancôme Lip Lover #356 Belle De Rouge which is a Cherry Pink. Ideally I'd like you to watch the video but here and some quick things I can tell you about this metallic tube of goodness.<br /><br /><span style="color: red; font-size: large;"><u><b>My experience and thoughts of Lancôme Belle De Rouge lip gloss.</b></u></span><br /><span style="color: red; font-size: large;"><u><b><br /></b></u></span> <br /><ul><li><span style="font-size: large;">It's a 3 in 1 elixir that gives you shine and moisture.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: large;">In my personal experience it delivers on its 8 hr moisture promise.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: large;">It doesn't feel sticky or gross like a lot of lip glosses do.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: large;">The pigment of this color is lovely and I was pleasantly surprised. </span></li><li><span style="font-size: large;">Lancôme does a great job with the packaging, it's on par. Hey Nubians,<br /><br />I was sent a few products from the Aveda Heart Lands Collection a few weeks back and was so excited to try them out.  <br /><br />It's always satisfying to know you're using quality products. I can always count on Aveda to carry merchandise that's infused with plant and fruit waxes and feel nice on my skin. It's good and important to know what you're putting on your face ladies!!! C'mon y'all.<br /><br />I kind of created this look by improvising, it was fun and I was happy with the results. A bit heavy on the eyes and neutral lips. A great color to add to your makeup collection for winter and its durable. It keeps my lips pretty and moisturized. </li><li>The tip on the balm stain reminds me of a Crayola! I was thinking about what I'm going to wear to welcome the New Year and how I'll be styling my hair and doing my makeup <strike>It has to look flawless so I don't look majorly drunk</strike>. Welcoming change is good! Archie comics always seem to have such a cool, fun lifestyle to them.  Archie Andrews, Betty Cooper, Veronica Lodge, Reggie Mantle and Jughead Jones all hung out in Riverdale and we got to follow the stories about their lives.What had me drawn to the comics was the feud Veronica and Betty had going on over Archie.... I mean c'mon, How many people are still wondering if they're a Veronica or Betty?
