This trend was pretty popular anywhere from the 1950s-1970's. I am completely smitten with the Adidas Y-3 Kitaya shoe. It looks like the boat shoe of the future with a sexy silhouette. To top it off it's a slip-on. I consider it fashion at it's best when I see a fresh to death shoe. Hello Nubians,<br /><br />Summer has NEVER been my favorite season of the year. As a matter of fact, when I want blazing hot weather, I rather travel to a tropical island for it. I much prefer Spring or my <b>favorite which is Fall</b>. There's something beautiful about Fall... The air feels so crisp, the leaves may die... BUT the transformation is beautiful! and they have that crunchy sound when you walk on them.<br /><br />There's so many nice warm colors, Greens and oranges. Not to mention you get the return of the... <i>wait for it</i>... PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE. If you have a boyfriend you get to cuddle more because it's that time of the year when it starts to get chilly and he keeps you warm... <b>Damn I love Fall. </b><br /><br /> It seem's like once again plaid is going to be quiet popular this year. I decided to participate in this weeks IFB Project I put together "What's your Style Decade?". I thought about this long and hard and decided <b>I fit mainly somewhere between</b> <b>90's grunge/urban hip hop and a fun, colorful, animated, japanese inspired look. </b><br /><br /><b></b>I grew up with 2 older brother doped up on Wu Tang Clan. I am in love with Japanese lifestyle and culture. Any one who's been following my blog for some time might remember my <a href="http://nubiasnonsense.blogspot.com/2010/10/coolness-all-over-place.html" style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(0, 0, 153);">Comic Con trips</a> and even when I dressed up as a <a href="http://nubiasnonsense.blogspot.com/2009/06/japan-day-in-central-park.html" style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(0, 0, 153);">Harajuku girl for Japanese day in Central Park</a> or when I spoke about the<a href="http://nubiasnonsense.blogspot.com/2011/01/check-out-these-grillzzzz-glowing-led.html"> <span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(0, 0, 153);">LED light teeth</span></a> trend in Japan. While I am fascinated by the culture because I think it would be so rad to dress myself as an anime inspired character everyday (in certain sectors of Japan)... Some trends I just <span style="font-weight: bold;">CAN NOT</span> approve and I would never EVER in my wildest dreams try them . This has surpassed clothing and garments but is still considered a "style" because it's trending I suppose.<br /><br /><span style="font-size:130%;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Bagel Heads</span></span><br /><br />The new Japanese trend "Bagel Heads" makes it look like you have a bagel under your skin! Not sure why anyone would want a bagel under their head but if this arouses your interest, to obtain this look you must inject yourself with saline while holding a finger down in the middle of your head. The saline injections will temporarily change the shape of your skin. I read in a spanish newspaper that it last 24 hours but I'm not 100% sure. Ryoichi “Keroppy” Maeda who is the man said to have started this trend did an interview with Vice Style you can check out <a href="http://vicestyle.com/en/news/today/post/japanese-bagelheads">here</a>.<br /><br />This all seems so casual in Japan, I find it so mind boggling or mind bubbling? (no pun intended). I'm not even being closed minded at all! I have 4 tattoos and quite a bit of piercings but I WILL NOT inject saline under my skin! I rather grab duck tape and literally tape a bagel on my head and maybe paint it with various bright colors =)<br /><br />What do you think about the Bagel Head trend? <span style="font-size:130%;">Hello Dears,<br /><br />Today was a rainy day here in NYC. I'm one of those people who get's affected by weather. It's hard for me to be in a bright or chipper mood when it's so ugly out. I start procrastinating and wasting time and it actually royally pisses me off when I act that way. Don't you hate getting mad at yourself?<br /><br />I am extremely anxious for the arrival of Spring. I can't wait for the weather to be gracious. I'd also like to see  different colors, skirts, and light jackets in the streets. It all sounds so refreshing!<br /><br />Orange was a big color on the runways for Spring 2011.
