For The Love Of Flats! A Shoe Poem.

Hello Nubians,<br /><br />You know what I love? The feeling of fashion and comfort. I love cool, edgy flats. Whether they're shoes or sneakers, flats rock! Sometimes people frown upon flats because they don't compliment your body as much as heels and give you the height boost. Well they shouldn't! Flats now-a-days are super edgy and cool. Below read my Dr Seuss-ish type poem haha for my love of flats.<br /><br /><i>¿Sabes lo que me gusta? El sentimiento de la moda y la comodidad. Me encanta zapatos bajitos cheveres. Si son zapatos o zapatillas de deporte. Muchas veces a las mujeres no les gusta los zapatos bajitos porque no complementan tu cuerpo tanto como los talones y no dan el impulso de altura. Pues no deberían! </i><br /><br /><u><span style="color: red; font-size: large;"><b>For The Love Of Flats.</b></span></u><br /><div style="text-align: left;">Though I love the height I get from my heels</div><div style="text-align: left;">It still doesn't beat how my flats make me feel!</div><div style="text-align: left;">Still looking stylish and incredibly chic,</div><div style="text-align: left;">And I barely get blisters on my feet! (cough, cough heels)</div><div style="text-align: left;">I can skip through the park and never get tired</div><div style="text-align: left;">and though at times I wish I felt a bit higher...</div><div style="text-align: left;">Don't get me wrong,</div><div style="text-align: left;">Heels are fabulous, but they still don't defeat</div><div style="text-align: left;">The winning sensation of pretty flats on my feet. </div><i><b>-Nubia Mejia</b></i><br /><i><b><br /></b></i>Now don't get me twisted, I love a bad ass pair of heels as much as the next chic. Hey Nubians,<br /><br />Every time Comic Con rolls around everyone gets Super Hero crazy! Some of us like me are Super Hero crazy year round :)<br /><br />If you're a fan of DCcomics and want some dope footwear, you're going to want to get your hands on a pair of these converse. The footwear prices range from 35-50 dollars which I think is fair because of the iconic artwork from some of DCcomics biggest creators such as  Jim Lee and Jock.<br /><br />My favorite from these is the Wonder Woman pair duh! Shoe Crush: Y-3 KITAYA

Hello Nubians,<br /><br />I was browsing online the other day and bumped into these fierce bad boys. For a moment, I think I heard them whisper "I want to be in your closet". I am completely smitten with the Adidas Y-3 Kitaya shoe. It looks like the boat shoe of the future with a sexy silhouette. To top it off it's a slip-on. I consider it fashion at it's best when I see a fresh to death shoe. This is one of the newest additions to my closet. Betsey Johnson Melissa shoes (plastic lace print). I fell in love with the huge bows and it's a fairly comfortable heel to walk around in which I consider essential in NYC. Jeffrey Campbell OH BOY Act 1&2

Hey Guys,<br /><br />The Jeffrey Campbell team has relased the first 2 parts of the "OH BOY" real girls video shoot filmed in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. It was so fun being part of this. JC not only has amazing shoes and bags, but the people there are so nice, chill, and just all around fun.<br /><br />I believe the final part of the video is going to be released Friday, so I dont want to talk about too much yet. Once the whole short film drops, I'll talk about the enjoyable experience a bit more in depth.<br /><br />Please enjoy the videos below and leave your thoughts. They're random, witty, artsy... Hello dears,<br /><br />Today I attended the Independent Fashion <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">Bloggers</span> Conference.  It was a pretty interesting experience which I plan to eventually give a more in depth analysis about. To see some notes I took on the first panel you can look at the post below.<br /><br />As I was exploring some of the booths in the back of the Milk Studios room, I ran into these bad boys. Holy wedge heaven check out Aldo's collaboration with Julian Louie. I truly admire the patterns, texture, stitching, colors, <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">details</span> and weight of the shoe. I've been a fan of Aldo for sometime because they provide quality and affordable shoes and guess what?!
