Ito's Nonsense: fashion week

Hello Nubians, <br /><br />I wanted to share this outfit I wore sometime during NYFW. One of the girls I was working with got the whole social team cake pops which was really sweet! Who doesn't love a good cake pop? plus quite frankly, they're pretty to look at and I probably spend as much time admiring one as I do eating it.<br /><br />Anyway, back to the outfit... I wanted something chill and relaxing to wear. I pretty much had an ALL SNEAKER policy this season (except for one day when I wore oxfords) I run around way too much and comfort is key. To make up for not wearing any heels I layered a bit, mixed textures and tried to pay attention to detail as much as possible. </span></i><br /><i><span style="color: #0c343d;"><br /></span></i><i><span style="color: #0c343d;">De todos modos, de nuevo a la ropa ... Para compensar por no llevar ningún talones Acodé un poco, texturas mixtas y trató de prestar atención al detalle tanto como sea posible.</span></i><br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgMopC-2SYp_TmvylwKEymiYcRtHaplVkIrGgo9tkeKqIAUbev-AhlTmB9NkMbcNmbZmsf-176cXyVPFccq_qDUi2rML9Qll4Yd7EsFLMMhHmosI24RIlyS1nndgdbgEQd2qc3B0Zbr5OI/s1600/Screen+Shot+2014-02-26+at+1.27.02+AM.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgMopC-2SYp_TmvylwKEymiYcRtHaplVkIrGgo9tkeKqIAUbev-AhlTmB9NkMbcNmbZmsf-176cXyVPFccq_qDUi2rML9Qll4Yd7EsFLMMhHmosI24RIlyS1nndgdbgEQd2qc3B0Zbr5OI/s1600/Screen+Shot+2014-02-26+at+1.27.02+AM.png" width="636" /></a><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Wearing: <i>Vintage black top, New Era "Quick Draw McGraw" snapback, Free People Navy Blue skirt, Jordan sneakers, Misc leggings from Japan.</i></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><i><br /></i></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCn1jGB_b4eptf9LdGpYTAN7b6j8fVNcRKU6iGj4WlUQGlbNkxD1wzgkDxYKVBpuB6wWye9y7_r6dghhMg-28wGECdt-I5ci-Nk1cNtUUFYKOWnL58hvTQoCD_bOTvluxSNm29H09AiQs/s1600/image+(31).jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="542" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCn1jGB_b4eptf9LdGpYTAN7b6j8fVNcRKU6iGj4WlUQGlbNkxD1wzgkDxYKVBpuB6wWye9y7_r6dghhMg-28wGECdt-I5ci-Nk1cNtUUFYKOWnL58hvTQoCD_bOTvluxSNm29H09AiQs/s1600/image+(31).jpg" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhD7Frgt3YwYHqUlFKS67FSGkpYLEkupXgqF8a7j0JR6d3IVPEp_5WrMocsXUW2YB1ltyfrGAHnQPCP6xJthoVr4252HzqvyfgHSiG6xUlWZ4eZBEAB-HKcvMSxxsMd0vxBaben3qjhY_Y/s1600/N6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="444" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhD7Frgt3YwYHqUlFKS67FSGkpYLEkupXgqF8a7j0JR6d3IVPEp_5WrMocsXUW2YB1ltyfrGAHnQPCP6xJthoVr4252HzqvyfgHSiG6xUlWZ4eZBEAB-HKcvMSxxsMd0vxBaben3qjhY_Y/s1600/N6.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi4diOjaQhkKoUtjR2AT4z1JBlNSZbfyBMWYJaDsIjRpy5utFvIkSAblHGaTgNXFaeTbJFVzMMF0tBziTA0vLHhy4QKJ-gE_3JZovM-6dlCiWXeStvzssU3-dy6Cka9Tw6qa-3oJkeEFWg/s1600/Screen+Shot+2014-02-26+at+1.43.25+AM.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi4diOjaQhkKoUtjR2AT4z1JBlNSZbfyBMWYJaDsIjRpy5utFvIkSAblHGaTgNXFaeTbJFVzMMF0tBziTA0vLHhy4QKJ-gE_3JZovM-6dlCiWXeStvzssU3-dy6Cka9Tw6qa-3oJkeEFWg/s1600/Screen+Shot+2014-02-26+at+1.43.25+AM.png" width="634" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzd4zjAb9ny_jM61Rrlt8l8RBYrRP-ZXYYSbpsG1RcBlZgNBDFHYiGO4fP1xoRlJqxtokmC23e6uiODMOCzYRUGLHn-xC7yDkBIzDvJr4CxqAA_JfWfFHd1IOy6naVzdE8x0qPi-Ie0OM/s1600/N5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzd4zjAb9ny_jM61Rrlt8l8RBYrRP-ZXYYSbpsG1RcBlZgNBDFHYiGO4fP1xoRlJqxtokmC23e6uiODMOCzYRUGLHn-xC7yDkBIzDvJr4CxqAA_JfWfFHd1IOy6naVzdE8x0qPi-Ie0OM/s1600/N5.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><b><span style="color: red; font-size: large;">Xo Nubia Xo</span></b></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b><br /></b></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>Follow the Nubia Network on your right hand side, Thank you! </b></div>

Cake Pop Rock.

I was completely intrigued with the oversized strip jacket from the collection. Katharine Polk really nailed it this season making pieces for women who dress for themselves and not for men. From leather to cashmere, to suede, these are pieces you will def want to swim in and absorb all the glam.  </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQaTB1d6yOlwrPYCefux0SyYvCdWuu4evy3SxtQNVmG95I3DZBqzgo0tt-9ACJwKO5ZWF_2ctDGl1g7Z1-9qaWxKHyMKqatYa0gZTt3Tb_nfwf2dMKvEu_ClB0gHdFoeLJD5xsbgvuJmE/s1600/Screen+Shot+2014-02-17+at+1.48.11+PM.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQaTB1d6yOlwrPYCefux0SyYvCdWuu4evy3SxtQNVmG95I3DZBqzgo0tt-9ACJwKO5ZWF_2ctDGl1g7Z1-9qaWxKHyMKqatYa0gZTt3Tb_nfwf2dMKvEu_ClB0gHdFoeLJD5xsbgvuJmE/s1600/Screen+Shot+2014-02-17+at+1.48.11+PM.png" width="636" /></a></div><br />I bumped into the young Carrie Bradshaw, Miss AnnaSophia Robb and she was pretty, petite and sweet! (Lets face it, all eyes have been on the Beyhive)<br /><br />The room was jam packed as everyone waited for the runway to begin at The Standard. It was out of this world with intergalactic flair and a clear message saying that the Future and a new style wave is here. There was a lot of structure and architecture used to compliment feminine curves.
