Hello Nubians, <br /><br />Last week I took a trip to New Jersey to get my hair done at my new favorite salon <a href="http://thepewterclubbarberspa.com/">The Pewter Club Barber Spa</a>. Hello my dear Nubians!<br /><br />Today is Christmas Eve and I couldn't help but thinking about what's next, <b>NEW YEARS!!</b> So much excitement. I was thinking about what I'm going to wear to welcome the New Year and how I'll be styling my hair and doing my makeup <strike>It has to look flawless so I don't look majorly drunk</strike>. I still have no idea what I'm wearing but when it comes to hair and makeup I came to these conclusions.<br /><br /><span style="color: red;"><b><span style="font-size: large;">Hair and Makeup:</span></b></span> <i><b>Kick it up a Notch!</b></i> Do something a little bit out of the usual. Welcoming change is good! I am obsessed with red lips! When it comes to holidays or special occasions I'm usually sporting them. Prom Dress?

Hello Nubians,<br /><br />Though my prom days are far behind me, I thought it was important to talk about a prom dress. Last week I was invited to the Prom Girls "Twitter and Tiaras" event at Dylan's Candy Bar. It was like candy and glitter exploded in a room, a rad time indeed.   <br /><br />When I was in high school I almost didn't go to prom at all. I was the rebel child, I'm sure many of you can relate. I had a very <strike>fuck this!</strike> I don't care attitude about the whole extravaganza. But I did go. I just didn't really care how I looked so much. I picked up a little black strapless dress with a little lace and called it a day... It was a very Audrey Hepburn moment... black dress, pearls, white gloves, <b><i>POW</i></b> I'm done. Though I don't regret my look THAT much (I did say it was Audrey Hepburn inspired, Duh!) New Hair

Hello Nubians,    <br /><br />I know I've been pretty much MIA on the blog lately but I had to take a break. Between my crazy work schedules and this horrible NYC weather with Sandy and Nor'easter I have just been terribly uninspired. On that note, I'm not one to come and make a million filler post on my site. I am trying to gather all my positive energy into doing the things I love again so bare with me! it happens to all of us.<br /><br />On a separate note, TA DA! I dyed my hair again. From a crazy <b><a href="http://nubiasnonsense.blogspot.com/2012/10/golden-girl.html"><span style="color: blue;">strong/bold red</span></a></b> to this dark purple. I would say this color is a mix between purple and brown. It was terribly difficult to take the red out and the color stained my hair, my hair dresser put this color on to cover up what was left of the red. I wasn't too crazy about it at first, but the color has grown on me.<br /><br />Well that's all for now.
