George and I were contemplating visiting his mother, and before you knew it we found our way to Grand Central and Jumped on the Metro North to South Norwalk. I enjoy Connecticut. Its not like the city, it has a very "townsy" feel to it which really comforts me. Its on of those "I breathe a different sort of air here" feelings.
We ate lunch, went to the Aquarium, and then play pool. I was able to snap a few shots in the Aquarium. The animals are so fascinating and beautiful. I find myself secretly hoping they could be free, but then I convince myself that its for the best that they're in the Aquarium. I have been itching to visit the Bronx Zoo, haven't been there in years.
Just in case your curious I'm a horrible pool player! George could probably beat me with his eyes closed and one arm tied behind his back at the same time, Yikes!
On another note, I have a lot of interesting items I plan to post later this week that I've seen on the web.. Stay tuned =).

ReplyDeleteIt's nice to get away from the hustle & bustle of the city once and awhile! I read that they host a "sleepover" at that Aquarium in Conneticut! I've been wanting to take my little brother there. He would love it :)

ReplyDeleteOhmigosh you mentioned the Bronx Zoo. I have forever wanted to visit the polar bears there thanks to Meg Cabot - one of her characters used to always do that in the book "The Princess Diaries" and I became obsessed.
